I Get By With a Little Help From My FABULOUSLY Artsy Friends!

Hi All! You know I don't usually post twice in a day, but when these arrived on my doorstep, I just had to share! One of my dear friends and Brave Sistahs, Jennifer Allred, has an amazing talent for leather working. I urge you to check her out her shop, The Turquoise Tomato, on Etsy.

Here are the two cuffs that she made just for me!

Aren't they GORGEOUS???  The first one is my word for the year: intentional. (For the last two years, my word has been "unoffended." Mercifully, this year is about intentionality. I'm still trying to live life unoffended...intentionally.... I'm a work in progress.)

The second cuff features the words "beloved and chosen." This actually comes from a book I was reading called Life of the Beloved, by Henri Nouwen. It was a spiritual kick in the head for me. Jennifer and I were talking about it a while back, and I asked her to come up with a bracelet for me as a reminder that I am beloved and chosen. WOW! Did she knock it out of the park or what?!

Here are some close ups, but I have to say, the pictures don't do justice to the vibrancy of the painting and just the amazing detail.

I love the little purple and white flower by the snap. It looks like a violet! (This girl has my number for sure.)

Here are her particulars, once again:

Stop by her shop. I promise you'll be so inspired!
