I haven't created very many tall and skinny cards, so this was a fun challenge. Here's my take on it:
I had a blast making this card! The dimensions are 8 x 3 1/2 inches. Here's the ingredients list:
Kraft Cardstock
Adhesive
To colorize the sentiment, I first stamped it in Stāz-On ink and let it dry. Then I used an aqua brush and Lagoon Exclusive Ink to water color the letters for Birthday. (This is one of my favorite techniques. It's an easy way to match colors.)

I love this masculine card! The coloring is perfect. I've been wanting to get back into some watercolor techniques!
