Hi All! Welcome to the Kraft-y Hearts Blog Share for March. We're celebrating Close To My Heart's March Stamp Of The Month: Happy Place:
My project today is a little three dimensional wall hanging using Close To My Heart's new My Creations Pennant Frame and elements and paper from the Jubilee Paper Collection. Let's take a look:
The frame and background are covered with Jubilee Paper and inked around the edges with Cranberry Exclusive Ink. The little booklet is made from Kraft Cardstock. I used scraps of the Jubilee paper on the cover and on the inside pages. The sentiment (from the Happy Place set) is stamped on Kraft Cardstock in Indian Corn Blue Exclusive Ink, which I used throughout the project.
The "Details" chipboard element is from the Jubilee Compliments. I altered it a bit to better fit the frame and added the sentiment using a variety of stamps from my collection. The two hearts above it are from the Stamp Of The Month and are stamped in Cranberry Ink on Kraft Cardstock. I fussy cut around them and added them to the frame with Liquid Glass--which I used to attach all of the chipboard pieces as well.
For the banners, I used more of the Jubilee paper and complements. "Happy" is from the Stamp of The Month and the other sentiments were created using retired stamps from my collection. "Together" is stamped in White Daisy Ink on Kraft Cardstock.
Here are a couple of close-ups:
