A KISS of Inspiration...and a Little Sneak Peek
Hi All! Welcome to Day One of the Kraft-y Hearts Christmas KISS blog share. For the next 7 days, the Kraft-y Hearts are bringing you a little Christmas card goodness inspired by stamps and sketches from Close To My Heart. Today's project, however, takes it one step further by providing you with a sneak peek from the new Seasonal Expressions catalog, which will be released TOMORROW! (Woo HOO!!!)
So on with the show!
The packages and sentiment stamps are from the Make It Merry stamp set. I stamped the packages on Colonial White cardstock in Flaxen, Glacier, Pixie and Hollyhock Exclusive inks. I then fussy cut them and covered them in Liquid Glass to give them extra dimension and shine. When they were dry (yes, that's right...let'em dry...), I popped them up on each panel with dimensional adhesive.
For the sentiment, I used the retired 2-inch scalloped circle punch by Close To My Heart to punch out a circle from Colonial White and Glacier cardstocks. I stamped the sentiment in Ponderosa Pine Exclusive ink, offset the Colonial White scalloped circle over the Glacier scalloped circle using dimensional adhesive, and then popped the whole thing up with dimensional adhesive as well.

Kraft-y Hearts Blog Share Day 2: Mix Well....
Hi Gang! Welcome to Day 2 of the Kraft-y Hearts Blog Share for July. Today Lynn, Jody, and I will be mixing and matching some current products with a few new products that will be available with the new Idea Book launch on August 1st. (I LOVE sneak peeks!)
As promised yesterday, today's project is the box that holds our note card set.
Using Kraft cardstock and the Close To My Heart Artiste Cricut Cartridge, I cut the box at 3 1/2 inches. I then cut a 2nd box using paper from the brand-spankin'-new Huntington collection. (Oh the Kraft-y goodness this paper brings!) I cut the sides and bottom off the second box and used it to layer on the inside of the Kraft box. To decorate the outside, I cut strips of Dakota and Huntington papers and edged them with the new CTMH scalloped edge punch. I layered them on the outside of the box and added some new Ruby Shimmer Trim [insert happy dance here] for some fantastic bling! I used a little more Huntington to create a rosette and popped a little watercolored apple from The Sweet Life stamp set on top. The sentiment is from the same stamp set. I stamped it in Outdoor Denim Exclusive Ink on Champagne cardstock, cut pennants in the end and adhered it to the box. I also inked around the edges of the box with a little Outdoor Denim to add some depth. I then used some ultra thin magnets as a closure.
Here are some close-ups:
See how well the products mix together? LOVE that! Don't forget to hop over and see what inspiring goodies Lynn and Jody have created for today.
Tune in tomorrow and see "Nuthin' but New!"

Kraft-y Hearts Blog Share Day 2: Kraft-y Bits of Sunshine
Hey folks! Welcome to Day 2 of the Kraft-y Hearts Blog Share celebrating Close To My Heart's April Stamp of the Month: My Sunshine.
Today's card project was inspired by a clean and simple challenge from the folks over at The Kraft Journal.
And here it is....
The base is Kraft cardstock (obviously!) on which I randomly stamped clouds in White Daisy Exclusive Ink. (I stamped the back with clouds, too.) The cloud stamp is from the CTMH Chantilly Workshop On The Go. (Love that set!) The pennant banner is made from Outdoor Denim Chevron Ribbon layered with a strip of patterned paper from Dream Pop. The sentiment is from the April Stamp Of The Month: My Sunshine, and is stamped in Honey Exclusive Ink on White Daisy cardstock. The hot air balloon is cut from White Daisy cardstock using the CTMH Artiste Cricut Cartridge. (I love how our stamps coordinate with our Cricut cartridges, don't you?) I stamped the balloon (also from My Sunshine) in Outdoor Denim Exclusive Ink, and sponged the basket with a little Honey Exclusive Ink, which I covered with yellow stickles for added sparkle. I used glitter gel for the flag pole and added a bit of Dream Pop to cover the flag.
Here's a couple of close-ups:
And here it is, once again:
I hope you enjoyed my little bit of hot air and sunshine. Remember, My Sunshine can be yours for $5 with any qualifying order of $50 or more, or you can purchase it on its own for $17.95. It is available through 30 April. Now hop on over and see what bit of Sunshine Kraft-y Queen Lynn Darda has for you at From My Bungalow!
We'll see you tomorrow for Day 3 of the Kraft-y Hearts Blog Share and a little more fun with My Sunshine.

Kraft-y Hearts Blog Share Day 1: Sharing a Little Dreamy April Mojo....
Hi All! Welcome to the Kraft-y Hearts Blog Share featuring Close To My Heart's April Stamp Of The Month: My Sunshine.
Today's project also provides a little sneak peek of a new paper collection that CTMH is releasing to celebrate National Scrapbooking Month in May. The collection is called Dream Pop, and is full of dreamy pops of color along with fabulous cardstock that is perfect for use with color resist techniques. Today's card was inspired by this Mojo Monday sketch:
Now on to the project!
Are these colors fabulous or what???? The card base is made from Kraft cardstock, which is layered with White Daisy cardstock. I used the polkadot cardstock from Dream Pop as the 3rd layer. (You can see the resist pattern on it better in the close-ups.) The large medallion is cut from the back of the paper that I used for the triangle. I popped it up with dimensional adhesive and added a little glitter gel for extra sparkle. The little "Hi" flag is the zip strip from the yellow and grey piece to which it's attached. The bird is stamped in Lagoon Exclusive Ink. The shape can be cut from the CTMH Artiste Cricut Cartridge. I fussy cut it because I didn't want a white border. The wing is stamped in Sorbet Exclusive Ink, fussy cut, and attached to the bird with dimensional adhesive. The sentiment is stamped in Lagoon Exclusive Ink on White Daisy cardstock. The little flag is cut from the zip strip on the hounds-toothy/medallion paper. The sentiment and bird are both popped up with dimensional adhesive.
Here are some close-ups:
And here is the full card, once again:
I hope you enjoyed my dreamy April bit of Mojo. Remember, My Sunshine can be yours for $5 with any qualifying order of $50 or more, or you can purchase it on its own for $17.95. It is available through 30 April. Now hop on over and see what bit of Sunshine the ever-so-talented Lynn Darda has for you at From My Bungalow!
See you tomorrow for Day 2 of the Kraft-y Hearts Blog Share and a little more Sunshine!

A Little Mojo (with a Sneak Peek at Floral Happiness)
Hi Folks! It seems like forever since I had a chance to play along with Mojo Monday! It's "Round or Square?" week. Here's the sketch:
And here's my take:
The inside flap features more Floral Happiness. This time, I used the 3rd generation stamping technique to create a lighter hue of Lagoon for the base of the rose and then 2nd generation stamping in Lagoon for the highlights. This created a softer look. The "Happiness Is...." pennant is stamped in Ruby Exclusive Ink on White Daisy Cardstock.
Here's a close-up of the rose:
And here's my take:
The Honey Cardstock base is cut at 4 x 12 inches and scored at 4 and 8 inches. The pattern paper is from the For Always collection in the new Close To My Heart Spring/Summer Idea Book. I used Ruby Cardstock, black ribbon (from my stash), a bling button and bitty pearls for accents. The rose is stamped in Lagoon Exclusive Ink on White Daisy Cardstock using the March Stamp Of The Month: Floral Happiness.
Heres a little close-up:
Now let's take a look at the inside.
Here's a close-up of the rose:
And now for the inside middle panel.
I added a piece of White Daisy Cardstock and stamped the sentiment in Ruby Exclusive Ink. I used Lagoon Exclusive Ink to add a smaller rose (from the same stamp set) to the corner to tie it all together. For a little extra pop, I edged the Whited Daisy Cardstock with Ruby Exclusive Ink.
Hope you enjoyed a little Mojo. Remember, Floral Happiness will be available starting tomorrow, 1 March.

Blog Hop Sneak Peek....
HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY!
I can't believe February is half over and it's been two weeks since my last post! Folks, it's been that kind of year already. I was trying to decide what to give up for Lent, and was reminded that actually, at this point, my life is one big Lenten season. So I'm adding in a break rather than giving things up. (Or I suppose I'm giving up chaos for a couple of hours a week.)It's been so crazy around here that I haven't had time to let everyone know another Rose Blossom Blog Hop is coming your way! TOMORROW!!! The new Close To My Heart Spring Idea Book is in and so we thought we would share a little inspiration from all its awesomeness!
Here's a sneak peek of what you'll find here. I can't wait for the full reveal!
This hop has a full little twist to it. Each participant has a secret word. When you get to Brenda Rose's site, which is the last on the list, you can leave the sentence in her comments section. (The comments will be hidden for this hop, so no peeking!) At the end of the hop, Brenda will draw a
random winner from the correct entries.
Wanna see what you could win?....
So it's not a layout with the photos of complete strangers. It's the components you need to make it yourself! To the winner goes a Buzz & Bumble paper pack (that's what my project is made from) and the Honeycomb Stamp Set! (All those cute little hexagons are made using these stamps. You're gonna love it!)
Be sure to hop along with us tomorrow. If you can't make it through the list in one sitting, that's okay. The hop goes through Sunday, 17 February!
Look forward to seeing you tomorrow!

A Sweet Stop-Inspired Sneak Peek
Hi All! So I was surfing the net for a little inspiration that might properly showcase this next collection. To my delight, I came upon The Sweet Stop challenge blog. They have some fun sketches over there, so you'll definitely want to put them on your inspire-me list.
Here's the sketch I used:
Here's my take:
Hope you enjoyed a peek at Claire! (Remember, it will be available February 1st.) Have a Happy Monday!

Here's my take:
Okay, this is a FANTASTIC collection called Claire. As the mom of an almost-12 year-old girl, this collection is going to be a go-to one for me. This simple card is layered on a White Daisy base. The sentiment is also a sneak peek. It's from a new stamp set called Scrapbook Statements--Women. It's stamped on White Daisy cardstock in Hollyhock Exclusive Ink. I used a fancy corner punch to give the sentiment a little flair and popped it up with dimensional adhesive. A little Color-Ready Seam Binding bow and three Pearl Opaque Gems add just the right level of bling, don't you think?
Here are a couple of close-ups:
